The big day has come and gone and I do not have a 3G iphone!

Why? A couple of reasons: One, most everyone I know is on Verizon which allows me to call them and them me, without being charged minutes. Two, I bought a 32 gb iPod Touch which does everything the iPhone does except the phone functions. Three, I have a Windows Smartphone which is hideous for the web and email, but I have a program that allows me to turn my smartphone into a wireless router wherever I am – something iphone can’t do and probably never will do. This allows me to use my Touch to read and send email (push technology), browse the internet and do all of the great things iphone does! In other words, my touch is online 24/7. Yes, I have to carry two devices, but I don’t have to sacrifice my network of friends who use Verizon and use a carrier that is average at best (I used to have AT&T) But I can be where there is no WiFi and still be able to use my laptop as well as five other people by accessing the wifi from my phone, at no extra charge.
