Yesterday Patrick Jesberger and I had left the Purpose Driven Community Gathering to head to John Wayne airport to catch our flight back to Cleveland. The plane we were supposed to fly out on was struck by lightning while coming into John Wayne.  They loaded us on to the plane while they checked it out for problems.  We sat in the plane for an hour when they finally gave us clearance to leave. Unfortunately, our connection was already gone when we arrived in Houston and we got the complimentary hotel room and two meal voucher. We got up at 4:00 this morning to go to Houston/Bush airport to try get the 6:50 flight to Cleveland, but that didn't happen.

We are currently booked for a 3:00 flight, but we are on standby on the 10:30 flight which is packed full. One of the worst air travel days I have had, but the conference was good.
