Believe it or not, it has been fourteen years since we have taken an official family vacation. That was in 1994! That year Julie, Sarah and I(Emily was too young) went to Alaska in September, then in December we all went to Disney World. Since then we usually head back to Tennessee and Alabama each year to see our families (can’t be classified as a real vacation). We have taken off a day or two here and there to go places, but still, no real sit back and re-energize kind of vacation.

Since we launched Bridge Church in January 2007 we have been running non-stop and we need a vacation. Like most pastors, funds are limited and I am seeking ideas on how to have a great vacation on a budget. Please read between the lines, we live in Ohio and I don’t want to vacation in Ohio.

If you know of some inexpensive vacation deals on a beach somewhere or some place in the southwest, please send me your ideas and information.
