After returning from Orlando to attend the Exponential Conference for the second year in a row, I am finally starting to catch my breath. As you may or may not know, I have had the opportunity to launch /help launch three churches over the past several years. The latest of those, Bridge Church is 15 months old and pushing 200 in attendance. Before we launched Bridge Church we put into the DNA of the church that it would be a church launching church. This past Sunday, I shared with our church that Bridge Church would multiply itslef by launching a new church in the fall of 2009!

We are not sure which community we will be launching in, but I do have three communities in mind and I would appreciate prayers that God would give me clarity as to which one needs a new church that is devoted to connecting the unconnected to God. I am excited and am looking forward to what God will do in the months to come as he raises up a launch team, provides funding, a place to meet, and all of the fun stuff that goes with launching a church.

I will remain at Bridge Church as Lead Pastor, but will direct the launching of this new church and provide direction to the launch pastor. Pray for the launch pastor/campus pastor or whatever we will call him. We do not know who he is right now, but God does!
